Happy Labor Day from BookRix!

happy labor day

As a kid, the only thing I knew about Labor Day was that you weren’t supposed to wear white until January. I never understood that. I’ll wear white whenever I please. But that’s not what this day is about at all. Big shocker.

Labor Day (the first Monday in September) is the day Americans celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers. It also marks the end of summer (sorry kids – it’s back to school for you!), as well as an excuse to go shopping. Retailers everywhere are breaking out with crazy sales, and who doesn’t like an excuse to shop?

No matter how you celebrate this day, we hope you’re being safe and having fun. Have some awesome labor day inspired photos you’d like to share? Tweet them to us @BookRixUS or post them on our Facebook wall. We’d love to see them!
