World Food Day? Om Nom Nom
The other day, we overheard two women debating where to go for lunch. The younger of the two said “I’m not really into food, so you pick”. Sorry… what?!? How can you not be into food? All those amazing flavors, spices and combinations… what’s not to be into, exactly? We were floored, but apparently not everyone is as crazy about food and authentic cuisines as we are. It’s ok, we forgive you, non-foodies. But we hope one day that changes. Trust us, your life will improve ten-fold.
Whether its traditional Indian curry, spicy Japanese/Thai fusion or Mongolian BBQ – we love it all. Los Angeles has an elaborate abundance of food options for almost everyone’s palate. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, pescetarian, or just allergic to peanuts, LA offers you the variety you need.
According to Wikipedia, “World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.” So go out, celebrate this day, and get your grub on. We are, and we can’t wait!
Just remember, it’s important to create a balance between eating and exercising. Unfortunately, not many (including us) have the luxury of eating whatever they want without the risk of certain health concerns. Check out BookRix author Sir Leonards book on weight loss here for some helpful tips.
