It’s Alaska’s Time to Shine
Do you know what today is? We’re pretty sure Sarah Palin does. It’s Alaska Day! Were not entirely sure what this day represented, so we looked it up. Apparently back in 1867, on this very day, the Territory of Alaska was formally transferred from Russia to the United States. So in essence, it’s a pretty big day for Alaskan natives.
We’ve never been there ourselves, but we’ve seen some amazing photos and have added it to our list of potential vacation spots. If you enjoy the great outdoors and have love for snow, keep Alaska in mind as a possible vacation spot. And while we’re on the topic of snow, check out Puck, a short story by S.G. Ricketts.
