Election Day 2012

Are you familiar with that unwritten rule at work? The one that essentially states which topics shouldn’t be discussed within the workplace? We do, too. And we know politics is on that list. BUT…. Today is a pretty big day. Today is Election Day, and everyone is encouraged to cast their vote (by mail or in person) to make it count.

Unfortunately, hurricane Sandy has severely affected those on the east coast. Some voting centers have been closed, lines are backed up, and patience is running thin. We wish the best for those dedicating their time to this cause. It’s a rough day for many, but a very important day nonetheless.

So far the numbers are incredibly close. There is electricity in the air, and it’s a very exciting time in the U.S. The Election buzz is all around. Who’s going to win? Cast your vote!

If you’re like us, and you’ve been glued to CNN all day, take a load off and check out these “non” political books to take your mind off the election. That is, until the official results are in!

Grasping at Reality is a sequel to Hanging onto Faith. Summer finds her life in total disarray. Is she really living a dream, or is this the way her life was suppose to be? The question Summer has to answer for herself is this: “What is the difference between dreaming and reality?” Feelings and emotions are plaguing her.

Summer’s coming to a close and it’s time to get ready for high school, but the gang decides to wreck their own neighborhood. Why would they do that?
